Contract Specialist – IT & Technology Agreements

About the role

A leading technology organization in Abu Dhabi seeks a Contract Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of customer‑facing contracts for IT and technology engagements. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery and Project Management to ensure contracts accurately reflect commercial agreements, scope, pricing and service obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, redline and manage customer contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, amendments and change orders.
• Validate scope, pricing, payment terms, deliverables, SLAs and milestones against approved commercial agreements.
• Identify and assess contractual risks related to liability, indemnity, IP ownership, data protection, termination and warranties.
• Support negotiations with customers and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain contract records, trackers, version control and monitor expiries, renewals and critical dates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, Contract Management or related field.
• 5–8 years of contract management experience, with at least 3 years handling customer‑facing IT/technology contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management and excellent written and verbal English communication.

Required skills

• Contract drafting, review, redlining and negotiation support.
• Knowledge of MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, amendments, change orders and software licensing agreements.
• Understanding of IP, data protection/privacy, liability and indemnity provisions.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, DocuSign/Adobe Sign, Jira or Confluence for contract management.
