Corporate Lawyer

About the role

BM Morrison Partners, a Dubai‑based consultancy and legal services firm, is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to provide strategic legal advice and manage litigation for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.
• Manage corporate and commercial litigation before DIFC Courts and Dubai Courts, from assessment to enforcement.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, joint‑venture agreements and other legal documents.
• Advise on UAE corporate and commercial laws, regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Handle corporate structuring, company formation, restructuring, M&A and other transactions.
• Develop litigation strategies, prepare legal submissions and coordinate with external counsel.
• Conduct legal research, prepare opinions and deliver commercially focused solutions.
• Oversee legal due diligence for corporate transactions and acquisitions.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognized university.
• Proven experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Practical experience handling cases in DIFC Courts and Dubai Courts.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate legislation, legal procedures and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex legal matters independently.
