Cost Clerk – Automotive Aftersales

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a detail‑oriented Cost Clerk to support its Aftersales workshop operations in Dubai. You will ensure that completed job cards are accurately reviewed, processed and costed, helping to capture workshop revenue and manage work‑in‑progress efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Review, verify, cost and process completed workshop job cards daily.
• Ensure labour hours, consumables, oils, paint, materials and sublet items are correctly captured for invoicing.
• Return incomplete or incorrect job cards to the relevant team with clear correction instructions.
• Monitor outstanding and uncosted repairs, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established operational processes using SAP and other systems.

Required profile

• High school or higher education with a trade certificate in Mechanical Automotive Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive Aftersales or workshop costing.
• Good knowledge of job cards, repair codes and workshop processes.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• SAP (or automotive dealer management system) knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
