Cost Controller – Food & Beverage (F&B)

About the role

Wafi Hospitality is looking for an experienced Cost Controller to lead cost control activities across its central stores and restaurant outlets. You will protect profitability by managing inventory, monitoring waste, and providing detailed financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all cost control operations for central stores and restaurant outlets.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and recipe costing.
• Monitor food and beverage wastage and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Conduct production yield tests and spot checks to ensure compliance with approved recipes.
• Perform variance analysis on food cost, beverage cost, and inventory movements.
• Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present cost control reports, monthly Cost of Sales, menu engineering, and inventory reports.
• Maintain POS pricing structures and coordinate with delivery aggregators and system providers.
• Support operational teams in implementing best practices for efficiency and cost performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cost Controller in F&B, restaurant or hospitality environments.
• Finance, Accounting or related education preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, recipe costing, yield testing and menu engineering.
• Proven analytical and reporting abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and coach team members.
