Cost Manager (Construction & Quantity Surveying)

About the role

We are seeking a Cost Manager to support large‑scale real estate and urban development projects in Dubai. The role combines cost planning, cost management and quantity surveying across all project phases, working closely with project managers and technical experts to deliver economically viable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare investment cost estimates, cost plans and detailed calculations using benchmarks, trade cost indicators and unit rates.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and analyses, both BIM‑based and manual, to support cost forecasting.
• Review and challenge cost calculations, estimates and commercial submissions from contractors and consultants.
• Maintain project cost tracking, including budgets, commitments, expenditures, change orders and construction progress.
• Develop model‑based cost forecasts, cash‑flow projections and portfolio cost outlooks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports and management dashboards, coordinating cost‑related topics with clients and internal teams.
• Lead cost evaluations for change management, risk and opportunity assessments and support investment decisions.
• Drive value‑engineering and cost‑optimisation initiatives in collaboration with the project team.
