Counter Services Specialist – Dubai Mall Branch (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

The Counter Services Specialist ensures all financial transactions at the Dubai Mall branch are performed risk‑free while maintaining high service standards. The role also covers the Branch Service Manager duties during their absence and focuses on delivering a smooth, efficient customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash counter transactions for a customer base of over 7,000, handling assets of AED 100M and liabilities of AED 200M.
• Process all counter transactions accurately, swiftly, and in line with established procedures, aiming to minimise waiting and service times.
• Maintain zero cash differences by diligently reconciling cash, investigating discrepancies, and adhering to transaction limits and approval processes.
• Detect and report any suspicious or fraudulent activity, seeking supervisor guidance when needed.
• Support the Branch Service Manager with day‑to‑day transactional activities and ensure compliance with audit and risk‑rating standards.

Required profile

• UAE national with 3‑4 years of teller experience in the banking sector.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, able to handle pressure and maintain attention to detail.
• Basic accounting and reporting knowledge with an in‑depth understanding of counter‑related processes.
• Ability to work accurately with numbers, stay vigilant for fraud risks, and follow security protocols.
• Commitment to delivering excellent service, meeting TNPS goals, and achieving high mystery‑shopper scores.
