Country Manager (UAE) - Crypto Remittances

About the role

Coin, the most established crypto brand in the Philippines, is looking for a Country Manager to lead its UAE market entry. The role builds an outbound remittance business from Dubai into priority markets and corridors, using stablecoin rails where appropriate, and aligns the operation with the company's corridor thesis. The position is open to consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute the UAE market-entry plan, driving early partnerships that lower friction and accelerate adoption
• Translate strategy into measurable transactions and volume growth in cross-border remittances and payments within 12-18 months
• Oversee the compliance agenda led by the CCO so the business stays aligned with VARA expectations and scales controls appropriately as volumes grow
• Maintain senior-level engagement with VARA and act as the link between Dubai market realities and Coins.ph leadership

Required profile

• Must be based in the UAE
• Senior fintech, payments or remittances leader already in the UAE who can build a new market presence and turn partnerships into volume
• Experience engaging UAE regulators (VARA preferred)
• Hands-on builder mentality, comfortable with ambiguity and able to create momentum from a standing start

Required skills

• Strong understanding of crypto and stablecoins, including how stablecoin rails enable remittance economics
• Ability to represent the firm credibly to regulators
