Country Manager – UAE

About the role

The Country Manager will lead the market entry and consolidation of a Spanish multinational engineering and infrastructure consulting firm in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the International Business Development Department, the role combines business development, contract acquisition, and local organisational leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s growth strategy for the UAE market.
• Identify and convert business opportunities into contracts across infrastructure, transport, water, energy and building sectors.
• Build and maintain high‑level institutional and commercial relationships.
• Coordinate local resources and structures defined by global Business Units.
• Ensure profitability targets are met and support project delivery where required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering, infrastructure or consulting business development.
• Proven track record of winning contracts and managing client relationships in the Middle East.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen and an international mindset.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or Spanish is a plus.
