Customer Service Associate – Café Kitchen

About the role

The Customer Service Associate – Café Kitchen will prepare and serve high‑quality food while upholding food safety, hygiene, and customer service standards within the M&S Café. You will work as part of a team to ensure a smooth, efficient dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to M&S Café recipes and presentation standards.
• Assemble customer orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Support daily kitchen operations, including opening, closing, and routine food preparation tasks.
• Maintain equipment safety and correct operation.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with HACCP, municipal, and M&S policies.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, expiry dates and apply FIFO principles.
• Minimise waste through portion control and stock rotation.
• Assist front‑of‑house colleagues by delivering orders on time and maintaining a professional, customer‑focused attitude.
