Data Analytics Officer

About the role

The Data Analytics Officer supports data analytics, business intelligence, digitalization and process automation within the Technical department. The role builds reliable dashboards and automated reports, improves data quality and turns operational data into clear insights for decision-making. It covers the full lifecycle of analytics initiatives, from requirements gathering through implementation, adoption and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance business intelligence reports and automated dashboards using the Maintenance Information System, OPS BI, EDP and other operational data platforms.
• Work with IT and business stakeholders to secure data access, clarify data definitions and ensure datasets are accurate and reliable.
• Monitor data flows, validate data connections and resolve data quality issues by finding root causes and coordinating corrective actions.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to digitize manual workflows and automate recurring technical processes.
• Lead digital and analytics initiatives from requirements and design through testing, deployment, handover and continuous improvement.
• Define project scope, timelines, resources, success measures and delivery plans with Technical, IT and business stakeholders.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that improve efficiency, visibility and data-driven decisions.
• Promote data literacy, training and adoption across the department.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related analytical discipline.
• At least 3 years' experience in a complex analytical, numerical, business intelligence or reporting environment; aviation experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and drive improvement initiatives from idea to implementation.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power Platform and analytics/query tools such as SQL, R, Python, Power BI or Tableau.
• Data analytics, dashboard development, business intelligence reporting, data modelling and ETL principles.
• Familiarity with OPS BI and EDP is highly desirable; knowledge of automation tools such as Power Automate, Python scripting or RPA is an advantage.
