Data Integration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Data Integration Engineer to join our Dubai team, supporting the integration of data for our flagship SaaS logistics platform used by airports and airlines worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop code to normalize data from multiple sources for ingestion into the SaaS application.
• Ensure quality assurance and perform testing of SaaS components.
• Design and enhance technical solutions for new and existing customers, documenting architecture and design.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and maintain thorough project documentation.
• Manage handover processes to Service and Customer Success teams and collaborate with a geographically dispersed team.

Required profile

• Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Educational background in software development, computer science, mathematics or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Ability to work flexibly, manage dynamic workloads and motivate teams.

Required skills

• Programming experience with Java or Python.
• Knowledge of SQL and basic understanding of APIs.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with GitLab version control.
• Understanding of Agile or Lean development methodologies.
