DCAS‑Licensed Life Support Instructor (AHA/ASHI)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Dubai is for a DCAS‑licensed Life Support Instructor with AHA/ASHI credentials. The instructor will deliver high‑quality Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses to healthcare professionals, ensuring alignment with AHA/ASHI and DCAS guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and conduct classroom and simulation‑based training sessions for BLS, ACLS, PALS and related courses.
• Assess participant performance, provide constructive feedback and record attendance, evaluations and certification outcomes.
• Maintain training equipment, simulation manikins and ensure readiness and safety of all teaching aids.
• Support course scheduling, logistics and administrative tasks, including accurate record‑keeping.
• Collaborate with clinical and academic teams to keep course content current with evidence‑based practices and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching materials and instructional methods.

Required profile

• Current DCAS license and valid AHA and/or ASHI instructor certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Clinical background in nursing, paramedicine, emergency medicine or a related healthcare discipline with acute or critical care experience.
• Strong instructional and facilitation abilities, including classroom teaching, skills demonstration and simulation‑based training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse groups of healthcare professionals.
• Solid knowledge of current resuscitation guidelines, patient safety principles and emergency response protocols.
• Organizational and administrative competence for managing schedules, records and equipment.
