Demi Chef de Partie

About the role

The DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is looking for a Demi Chef de Partie. You will prepare high-quality dishes in your assigned kitchen section, uphold food safety and hygiene standards and support your team in delivering excellent dining experiences, working closely with senior chefs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes in your section, meeting Hilton standards for consistency, taste and presentation.
• Contribute to memorable guest experiences by preparing meals accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and HACCP procedures to keep the workplace clean and safe.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth operations and timely service during all meal periods.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control and keep your section ready for service.
• Support senior chefs in daily operations, learn new techniques and help improve the team.
• Uphold Hilton's quality, grooming and professional standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel, resort or high-volume restaurant.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork, organisation and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and to join a multicultural team.
