Deputy Boutique Manager - Dubai Duty Free

About the role

CHANEL is hiring a Deputy Manager for its two fashion boutiques in Dubai Airport. The Deputy Manager leads a team of managers across both boutiques in the Dubai Duty Free environment and reports to the Boutique Director, acting as a strategic partner who helps drive the business while safeguarding the CHANEL brand image.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Sales Managers: ensure they understand and deploy the House's strategy, coach and mentor them, define individual development priorities and monitor progress
• Cultivate a psychologically safe environment of open dialogue, trust and learning
• Act as a strategic partner to the Boutique Director on key projects, make key decisions, handle some projects in line with the Director's vision and represent the Boutique Director in their absence
• Build relationships with the retail community to gather competitor insight and share it with the Boutique Director
• Drive the business and the ultimate luxury experience: work with Client Experience Managers on service action plans, monitor business indicators across product categories with the Operations Manager and advise the Boutique Director

Required profile

• Natural leadership and strong managerial skills, with a strategic mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills, emotional and situational intelligence
• Sensitivity to the fashion environment and its products
• Superb command of English and excellent communication skills
