Digital Merchandising Assistant

About the role

The Digital Merchandising Assistant supports the online merchandising team by ensuring product information is accurate, easily discoverable, and aligned with commercial priorities. Working closely with the Digital Merchandising Manager, the role contributes to product launches, site layout, performance monitoring and reporting to help drive sales and conversion on the e‑commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate product data and ensure it appears in the correct site locations.
• Assist with end‑to‑end product launch processes.
• Support categorisation, filters and internal search to improve product findability.
• Place products across categories, landing pages and curated edits.
• Review the site daily to verify assortments, campaigns and promotions.
• Monitor key metrics such as conversion, add‑to‑cart rate and product performance.
• Prepare weekly merchandising performance reports and insights.
• Track inventory levels for campaign‑featured products.
• Produce ad‑hoc analyses and competitor benchmarking.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth execution of merchandising activities.
