Director - Managed Investment Solutions

About the role

The Director – Managed Investment Solutions will act as the portfolio management expert during sales processes, providing technical support to business development units and communicating investment expertise to clients, consultants and internal teams. Based in Dubai, the role bridges investment product knowledge with commercial activities, ensuring accurate and compelling product positioning across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as subject‑matter expert on assigned investment strategies across multiple asset classes.
• Develop and maintain product narratives, positioning materials and sales tools tailored to different client segments.
• Represent portfolio managers in client meetings, roadshows, due‑diligence sessions and RFP responses.
• Provide technical support to sales teams, answering product‑related inquiries and assisting in proposal preparation.
• Conduct internal training sessions for sales and marketing teams to improve product fluency.
• Collaborate with marketing to produce factsheets, performance commentaries and thought‑leadership content.
• Monitor market trends, peer products and competitive positioning, performing performance attribution and benchmarking analyses.
• Feed client insights and market demand back to investment and product development teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in investment product management, preferably within banking or asset‑management environments.
• Proven ability to communicate complex investment concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance attribution and peer benchmarking.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of investment strategies across asset classes.
• Expertise in preparing pitchbooks, factsheets and RFP responses.
• Ability to conduct market and competitor analysis.
