Director of Sales and Marketing

About the role

Lead the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue, strengthen market positioning, and build lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual sales and marketing plan, budget, and commercial strategies.
• Drive revenue across rooms, Food & Beverage, meetings and events while maintaining a balanced business mix.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow key corporate, leisure, group and MICE accounts.
• Lead, coach and develop the Sales & Marketing team, setting clear targets and monitoring performance.
• Work closely with Revenue Management to align pricing, distribution and demand‑generation strategies.
• Oversee marketing campaigns, digital channels, public relations and brand communications.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, account production and campaign results.
• Manage commercial partnerships and negotiate agreements within approved authority.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions and industry events.
• Provide forecasts and performance reports to the General Manager and relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing or senior commercial leadership role in an upscale or luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of the Dubai hospitality market and established relationships across key business segments.
• Proven ability to achieve revenue targets, manage budgets and lead high‑performing teams.
• Experience in digital marketing, distribution and revenue management collaboration.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and analytical skills.
• A degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
