Director of Valuation – AI Lab Expert

About the role

Ethos is partnering with a leading foundational AI lab to train its newest language model on professional finance documentation. As a Director of Valuation you will leverage your 5+ years of experience to create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated valuation models, credit risk memos, and investment committee materials.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and audit discounted cash flow (DCF) models, comparable company trading analyses, and leveraged buyout (LBO) models for AI training datasets.
• Produce high‑quality credit risk assessments, covenant compliance summaries, and investment committee memos for institutional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to refine document, spreadsheet, and slide‑deck generation workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in equity research, credit analysis, or valuation advisory.
• Direct ownership of DCF, trading comps, and LBO model construction.
• Deep fluency in credit risk assessment, covenant analysis, and investment committee memo writing.
