Distribution Specialist

About the role

The Distribution Specialist will oversee LPG cylinder deliveries, manage stock levels and forecast demand. This role coordinates with suppliers, transporters and storage facilities to ensure a continuous supply chain while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor LPG cylinder deliveries, stock levels, and demand forecasting.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and storage facilities to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Optimize delivery routes, schedules, and transportation costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, transport regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Manage distribution centre staff, duty schedules, and daily activities.
• Handle cash and cheque transactions, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with the Accounts team.

Required profile

• Graduate in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or Logistics.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Good accounting knowledge and experience handling financial transactions.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Oracle or Fusion.
