Document Controller

About the role

aasa is hiring a Document Controller on a full-time basis. The role covers the control of all project documentation, from drawings and technical submittals to correspondence and records, keeping projects compliant with ISO standards and company QA/QC procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain project document control systems in line with ISO standards and company QA/QC procedures.
• Control all project documentation, including drawings, technical submittals, correspondence and records.
• Manage document workflows: issuance, revision control, approvals and distribution to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, QA/QC, procurement and client teams for timely submission and retrieval of documents.
• Maintain document registers, logs, transmittal records and master document lists.
• Ensure compliance with documentation requirements, audit readiness and contractual obligations.
• Support internal and external audits through accurate, traceable documentation.
• Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of project records throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in document control within construction or EPC organisations.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO document control systems.
• Knowledge of construction project workflows.
