DP Engineer (Dynamic Positioning)

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a DP Engineer in Dubai for the oil and gas sector. The engineer reviews and prepares technical drawings, DP trial and FMEA reports and operation manuals, carries out onboard DP sea trials and system verification, and provides technical support to clients on Dynamic Positioning systems.

Key responsibilities

• Review, verify and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare DP trial reports, FMEA reports and DP operation manuals.
• Conduct onboard DP sea trials and on-site system verification.
• Provide technical consultation and support to clients on DP systems.
• Coordinate with clients on drawings, trials, reports and technical issues.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical design or automation; fresh graduates with strong potential may be considered.
• Good English communication and technical report-writing skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work onboard vessels.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI/SCADA and electrical systems.
