Drama Teacher (Academic Year 2027/2028)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Drama Teacher to join its growing network of schools at the start of the 2027/2028 academic year. The role involves creating a nurturing, play‑based learning environment that inspires creativity and supports students' academic, social and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging drama lessons that cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to align lessons with curriculum requirements and school objectives.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with curriculum support staff and external professionals such as speech therapists and educational psychologists as needed.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy, promoting self‑control and independence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 1–2 years teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching drama and commitment to the holistic development of the child.
• Professional attitude with recent involvement in extra‑curricular activities and respect for a diverse school community.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.
