About the role
Operate heavy vehicles to transport goods according to assigned delivery schedules and routes, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel consumption records, and trip reports.
- Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
- Assist with basic vehicle upkeep such as checking tire pressure and oil levels.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of proven heavy‑vehicle driving experience in logistics or distribution.
- Valid heavy vehicle driving licence (Category 4 or equivalent).
- Familiarity with local routes, navigation tools, and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong focus on safety, punctuality and professionalism.
