About the role
Rixos Al Mairid is looking for a proactive Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, ensure guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly. The role acts as the property representative in the absence of senior management.
Key responsibilities
- Operational oversight: supervise hotel departments during assigned shifts
- Guest relations: address and resolve guest concerns and service requests
- Coordination: liaise with department heads to ensure seamless service
- Incident management: respond to emergencies and document incidents
- Reporting: compile shift reports and share key updates with management
Required profile
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar front office supervisory role, preferably in a luxury hotel
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, guest relations and complaint-handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
