E-commerce SEO Specialist – Perfume Industry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced E‑commerce SEO Specialist to boost the organic visibility, traffic and revenue of our perfume‑focused online store. You will design and implement SEO strategies for product and category pages, technical optimisation and content growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research for products, categories and customer search intent.
• Optimize product, category and landing pages for SEO.
• Perform technical SEO audits and resolve crawling, indexing, site speed and structured‑data issues.
• Manage on‑page SEO elements such as meta titles, descriptions, headings and internal linking.
• Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO tools.
• Develop content strategies to increase organic traffic and conversions.
• Analyse competitor SEO strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with content, marketing, design and development teams.
• Track rankings, traffic, conversions and revenue generated from organic search.
• Implement SEO best practices for e‑commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or BigCommerce.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT or a related field.
• 2+ years of SEO experience, preferably in e‑commerce.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, on‑page SEO and link‑building.
• Analytical and reporting skills.

Required skills

• SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console.
• Google Analytics.
• HTML and CSS.
• Website architecture knowledge.
• Experience with e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce).
