Echocardiographer – Hospital (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Royal Khalifa City Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Echocardiographer to join its cardiac imaging team. Working under the supervision of a cardiologist, you will perform a range of cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic tests to support patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, exercise tolerance tests, Holter monitoring, ECGs, and stress tests.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, ensure proper positioning, and operate imaging equipment safely.
• Assess image quality, determine if additional imaging is required, and provide data to physicians for diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate patient records, calibrate equipment, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Monitor patients during procedures, report any changes in status, and follow emergency protocols.

Required profile

• Valid DOH/DHA license or DOH pass result for Echocardiographer in Abu Dhabi.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in cardiac echocardiography.
• 3‑4 years of hospital experience as an Echocardiographer.
• Fluent spoken and written English; Arabic desirable.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
