Electrical Estimation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Estimation Engineer with 2‑4 years of UAE MEP estimation experience. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs and tender submissions for electrical and ELV systems on construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for electrical and ELV systems.
• Perform quantity take‑offs from drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Review project documents to identify requirements and discrepancies.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier/sub‑contractor quotations and ensure competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with procurement, technical and project teams to optimise costs and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in electrical estimation within MEP construction.
• Hands‑on experience with quantity take‑offs for electrical and ELV systems.
• Good knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling and fire alarm.
• Strong understanding of material pricing, labour rates and installation costs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation‑related software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and BOQs.
• Analytical and numerical skills for cost analysis and tender pricing.
