About the role
Halliburton Energy Services is hiring an Electrical Technician II in Abu Dhabi, under direct supervision, to maintain and repair downhole tool electronics and related equipment used in directional drilling, RSS and M/LWD applications. The role sits within the Support Services job family and Sperry Drilling Services product line.
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnoses, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration and inspections on downhole tool electronics and other equipment used in directional/RSS and M/LWD applications.
- Carry out assembly and disassembly of Measure While Drilling and/or Logging While Drilling downhole tools.
- Ensure all duties are performed safely, efficiently and effectively.
Required profile
- Technical school certificate or equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- An associate degree or higher is preferred.
Required skills
- Areas of specialization may include mechanical aptitude, electronics aptitude and computer skills.
