Electrician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

Southern Sun Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Electrician to join its hotel maintenance team. The role involves ensuring all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently, supporting the comfort of guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assess electrical and plant breakdowns and carry out timely repairs.
• Install new electrical equipment and conduct preventative maintenance checks.
• Produce detailed monthly updates of all electrical plant and equipment.
• Perform monthly meter readings and work on live equipment up to 415 V.
• Ensure compliance with ADOSH and other safety standards, including certification of installations.
• Participate in health, safety, and environmental programmes.
• Collaborate with team members or work independently to maintain high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience as an electrician in a hotel environment.
• Full‑term Diploma in Electrical/ITI or equivalent qualification.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical maintenance and installation.
• Flexibility to work shifts according to operational needs.
• Previous hotel experience in the UAE.
