Electrician – Maintenance & Installation

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our facilities team at a leading hospitality brand in Dubai. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems across the property, ensuring compliance with safety standards and delivering reliable service to guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning tools, equipment and electrical components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other devices, and perform testing with ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring and fixtures according to job specifications, the National Electric Code and local regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide installations and repairs.
• Respond to repair requests, conduct preventative maintenance and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Follow all company safety policies, report hazards and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in electrical work.
• Minimum two years of hands‑on experience as an electrician.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb and perform fine‑motor tasks.
• Commitment to safety procedures and excellent attendance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Use of testing equipment: ohmmeter, voltmeter, oscilloscope.
• Installation and maintenance of circuit breakers and transformers.
• Electrical wiring and fixture installation.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code and local electrical codes.
