Emirati Assistant Manager – AML II (Dubai)

About the role

The team is looking for an Emirati Assistant Manager to support AML, FATCA and CRS compliance within Orient Insurance. You will work closely with the compliance department to ensure all regulatory obligations are met for the UAE insurance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, review and validate FATCA and CRS self‑certification forms and KYC documentation.
• Perform due diligence on clients to determine FATCA & CRS status and verify tax residency information.
• Assist in developing and implementing AML, FATCA & CRS policies and procedures.
• Coordinate internally and externally to obtain required KYC and tax information for onboarding and ongoing compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of AML, FATCA & CRS documentation according to retention policies.
• Prepare and submit AML, FATCA and CRS regulatory reports to relevant authorities.
• Participate in training programs and develop training presentations on AML, FATCA & CRS.
• Identify and escalate gaps or issues in client information, documentation or compliance processes.

Required profile

• UAE national with a Family Book.
• 1‑2 years of AML, FATCA & CRS compliance experience in insurance, banking or financial services in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, commerce, business administration, finance or a related field.
• Preferred certifications: CAMS, ICA or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical abilities.
• Good knowledge of industry best practices, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
