Emiratization Engineer - Cloud Security Platforms

About the role

As an Engineer in the Cloud Security Platforms team, you will support the design, implementation and maintenance of security tools across cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on operational support for key security controls while contributing to continuous security improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational support for security controls such as network firewalls, web application firewalls, cloud security groups and native cloud security services.
• Monitor, document and respond to security incidents, managing escalations as required.
• Maintain vulnerability management tools, ensure they are up‑to‑date, and assist in remediation efforts.
• Implement new security controls, automate routine tasks and support security projects, internal reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with InfraOps, governance, DevOps and business teams to embed security best practices into IT and business operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in IT security, network administration, cloud operations or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
