Employability, Alumni & Industry Partnership Manager

About the role

The American University in the Emirates is looking for a dynamic manager to lead its employability, alumni and industry partnership initiatives. The role focuses on strengthening connections between students, alumni, and industry partners to improve graduate outcomes and build lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage employability programmes aligned with industry needs and student career goals.
• Develop strategies to enhance students' employability skills and networking opportunities.
• Cultivate and maintain alumni relationships to create mentorship, networking and career advancement opportunities.
• Organise alumni events, workshops and initiatives that foster community and support.
• Identify and establish partnerships with local, national and international organisations for internships, job placements and experiential learning.
• Oversee student internship programmes, including sourcing opportunities, facilitating placements and monitoring progress.
• Collaborate with academic departments to integrate practical up‑skilling initiatives into curricula.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education or a related field from an accredited university.
• Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with employers, alumni and industry stakeholders.
• Experience in a higher‑education environment or a comparable sector.
• Preferably bilingual with fluency in English and Arabic.
• High degree of independence, responsibility and sound judgment.
• Strong leadership abilities and capacity to guide collaborative teams.
