Engagement Manager – Strategy Consulting (TMT)

About the role

FTI Consulting is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead strategic projects within the Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) sector. You will shape recommendations, drive implementation, and coach junior staff while working directly with senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage modules of client‑billable projects, from problem structuring to delivery of high‑quality outputs.
• Develop and present complex financial, operational, or market models using advanced Excel skills.
• Coach and mentor junior consultants, providing feedback and supporting their career development.
• Support senior managing directors with commercial activities, including white papers, client pitches, and proposal development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a professional services or consulting firm, preferably with exposure to Telecom, Media & Technology.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of delivering under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency for building financial and market models.
