Engineering Executive

About the role

The Engineering Executive will supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the hotel, ensuring all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. This role involves regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day engineering tasks, projects and initiatives under the direction of the Deputy Engineer/Chief Engineer.
• Lead, train and mentor a team of engineering technicians and coordinate preventive maintenance for guest rooms, electrical, mechanical, kitchen, laundry, HVAC, plumbing, air‑conditioning, refrigeration, audio‑visual and lighting equipment.
• Implement engineering SOPs, ensure safety guidelines are followed, and maintain audit and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with vendors, prepare BOQs, and assist in cost‑effective solutions and shutdown planning for critical engineering services.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC (or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant hospitality engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a team‑leader or shift‑in‑charge role.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and relocate if required.
• Proficiency in English.
