About the role
The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and improving the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring safety, and supporting guest service requests.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.
- Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and operate shut‑off valves.
- Order, mark, stock parts and maintain inventory and purchase order logs.
- Conduct life‑safety checks, fire‑pump and generator run tests, and inspect fire sprinkler and alarm systems.
- Assist in developing disaster response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.
- Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- Minimum 2 years of related engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
Required skills
- Calibration of mechanical and electrical controls.
- Operation of power lifts and other maintenance equipment.
- Use of computer systems for inventory and work order management.
