Engineering Workpackage Manager

About the role

The Engineering Workpackage Manager will lead the end‑to‑end engineering lifecycle for radio communication systems, ensuring delivery of high‑quality solutions to customers in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, schedule, and control effort, budget, risk and opportunities for work packages.
• Conduct and manage reviews with business lines, project management and customers (monthly, design reviews, etc.).
• Coordinate activities across system engineering, infrastructure, cyber security and IVVQ teams.
• Liaise with Project Manager and discipline heads on resources, skills and delivery planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of work‑package or project‑management experience, leading teams of 20+ people.
• Proven ability to deliver complex systems (software, new technologies, cyber) in multi‑disciplinary, multicultural environments.
• Experience producing engineering documentation such as specifications, designs, IVVQ deliverables and user manuals.

• Radio communication technologies and system hosting infrastructure.
• Project management techniques: scheduling, risk management, estimating, progress reporting, stakeholder management.
• IVVQ processes and integration engineering.
