English Teacher – Al Ain British Academy (2026‑27)

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding English Teacher to join Al Ain British Academy for the 2026‑27 academic year. The role involves delivering the English National Curriculum, including GCSE preparation, to a diverse student body in Al Ain, UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
• Set clear learning objectives, targets and monitor progress using performance data.
• Differentiate instruction for SEN, EAL and gifted & talented learners.
• Utilise assessment for learning to inform instruction and close learning gaps.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of achievement.

Required profile

• Secure knowledge of the English National Curriculum and GCSE.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably with EAL learners.
• Proven track record of raising standards and implementing effective interventions.
• Leadership experience at any level and ability to work collaboratively.
• Understanding and appreciation of regional values and school ethos.
