English Teacher – AY2026/27

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join Yasmina British Academy for the academic year 2026/27. The successful candidate will deliver the English curriculum to I/GCSE and A‑Level students in a vibrant, multicultural environment in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English lessons in line with the Academy’s curriculum and standards.
• Contribute to the school’s improvement plan and support the achievement of strategic targets.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, safeguarding and child‑protection policies.
• Participate in performance management processes and set challenging annual targets.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including annual training on child protection and safeguarding.

Required profile

• Possess a recognized teaching qualification and at least two years of teaching experience.
• Demonstrate a genuine appreciation of the values of the region and alignment with the Academy’s core values of excellence, respect, passion, collaboration and creativity.
• Commit to fostering an inclusive, high‑expectation learning environment.
