English Teacher – Curriculum & Assessment

About the role

Repton School Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to lead curriculum design and assessment for its student body. The successful candidate will work closely with lead teachers and support staff to enhance learning outcomes across all year groups.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and continuously improve English lessons, aligning with the school’s curriculum framework.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to develop and refine teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
• Maintain accurate student records, monitor progress and communicate results to students, parents and school leadership.
• Coordinate with student counsellors and other faculty members to support holistic student development.
• Lead classroom management, model positive behaviours and promote a culture of academic excellence.
• Develop and update teaching materials, ensuring they meet quality‑assurance standards.

Required profile

• Native English speaker with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proactive attitude towards professional development and staff mentorship.
