English Teacher – Immediate Start at Seer Bani Yas Charter School

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher for Seer Bani Yas Charter School in Abu Dhabi, starting immediately for the August 2026 term. The role involves delivering the US‑based curriculum to Grades 6‑7 boys and contributing to a vibrant school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater to a wide ability range.
• Assess student progress using Target Tracker, provide feedback to parents, and use data to inform future planning.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff, and external specialists such as speech therapists.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, including running a weekly ECA each term.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Clean enhanced DBS or police check.
• Commitment to the well‑being of children and alignment with the school’s values.
