Environmental Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented Environmental Engineer (UAE National) to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will support engineering design, procurement and construction activities across environmental projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, reports and other technical documentation for procurement and construction.
• Perform engineering calculations, material take‑offs, estimates, surveys and environmental designs in line with project requirements.
• Review supplier drawings and technical submittals, and assist in bid evaluations.
• Provide technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters and junior engineers, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant engineering experience; fresh graduates are also welcome.
• UAE national citizenship.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as project needs dictate.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of CAD.
• Proficiency with PC software packages commonly used for engineering design and analysis.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and technical reviews.
• Experience preparing engineering documentation.
• EIT certification or other relevant professional certifications (advantageous).
