ERP Finance Lead

About the role

The ERP Finance Lead owns the Group's finance ERP transformation end to end, from vendor selection and commercial negotiation through design, build, go-live and stable operation. The role turns the GCFO's finance strategy into one integrated platform across the Group's diversified businesses, aiming for a single source of financial truth: harmonised processes, a common chart of accounts, faster close, real-time consolidation and full compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and e-invoicing rules. The postholder is the Group's senior authority on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SAP S/4HANA.

Key responsibilities

• Define the ERP vision, operating model and multi-year roadmap, assess the current application landscape and recommend the deployment model (single global instance, hub-and-spoke, cloud or hybrid).
• Lead vendor selection (RFI/RFP, demos, scoring, PoC) and negotiate licence and subscription agreements with Oracle and SAP, and select and contract the system integrator.
• Act as Programme Lead for the finance stream: own solution design, lead fit-to-standard workshops, manage the plan, budget and testing, and oversee phased rollouts.
• Redesign and standardise finance processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, etc.) and deliver multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation.
• Own data migration, master data governance, integrations with banks, HR/payroll and the FTA portal, and management reporting.
• Design segregation of duties and access controls, chair the ERP steering committee and own post-go-live support and continuous improvement.
• Build and lead the finance ERP team and drive change management and training.

Required profile

• 15+ years in finance, finance systems or ERP consulting, with at least 10 years leading ERP selection and implementation.
• Hands-on leadership of at least 3 full-lifecycle finance ERP implementations, including at least 2 as programme or finance-stream lead.
• Proven delivery on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SAP (S/4HANA, ideally also ECC-to-S/4 migration), with documented savings from contract negotiations.
• At least 5 years of ERP programme experience in the UAE or GCC, including UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field; preferred: ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, PMP, PRINCE2, MBA or Master's.

• UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and e-invoicing (Peppol) configuration and reporting
• Data migration, chart of accounts design, business case and TCO modelling
• Preferred: Big Four or tier-1 integrator consulting experience, Arabic, UAE banking integrations
