ETL Data Engineer

About the role

C5i is looking for an ETL Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines that collect invoice data from multiple source systems, transform it for e‑Invoicing, and load it into a central data store. The role focuses on ensuring data quality, handling errors, and supporting the full e‑Invoicing lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage ETL pipelines for invoice data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
• Implement data validation, error handling, and exception management.
• Build reconciliation logic to guarantee completeness and accuracy of invoice records.
• Track record status throughout the e‑Invoicing process and identify source‑data quality issues.
• Apply data modelling techniques (star/snowflake schemas) and optimise Snowflake performance.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with cloud data warehouse solutions, especially Snowflake.
• Strong background in ETL development across ingestion, transformation, and load layers.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex transformations and performance tuning.
• Experience integrating heterogeneous sources such as RDBMS, APIs, and flat files.
• Ability to design reconciliation and data‑quality monitoring processes.
