Executive Chef – Private Single Family Office (Live-Out)

About the role

A single family office in Dubai is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to run the culinary and kitchen operations of the principals' residence. This is a senior, hands-on position for a chef with substantial fine dining experience who delivers restaurant-quality food within the family's nutritional targets, dietary restrictions and preferences. It is a live-out position; accommodation is not provided.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prepare daily menus and tasting menus tailored to the family's dietary needs, and calculate and verify calories, protein, fibre and micronutrients per serving
• Work with strict ingredient exclusions, applying rigorous allergen controls and preventing cross-contamination
• Recreate and adapt dishes from leading restaurants to fit the household's dietary framework
• Plan and deliver food for dinner parties and events, and prepare daily meals for household staff
• Own kitchen procurement, stock control and supplier relationships, including sourcing premium ingredients internationally
• Manage deliveries, track shipments, handle customs queries and maintain inventory records, expiry dates and food costs
• Maintain food hygiene, safe storage and kitchen organisation, and coordinate cleaning and dining readiness with the household team
• Use spreadsheets, a recipe database and AI tools (such as Claude and ChatGPT) for menu planning, nutrition calculations and research, and independently check AI-generated information

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional kitchen experience, including substantial fine dining experience (e.g., Michelin-starred or comparable restaurants)
• Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally with the household
• Comfortable working independently without a permanent kitchen brigade
• Existing travel permissions are an advantage

• Cuisine: French, Japanese, Italian, Chinese, Indian, wider Asian and plant-based
• Spreadsheets and recipe databases
• AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT
