Executive Engineer – Plant & Equipment Coordination

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Engineer to lead plant and equipment coordination on construction and oil‑&‑gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of heavy equipment, from mobilisation to maintenance, ensuring seamless site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate plant and equipment activities, including earth‑moving and construction machinery.
• Handle equipment mobilisation and demobilisation, gate passes and obtain client approvals.
• Arrange third‑party testing, inspection and certification of equipment.
• Monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance programmes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date equipment documentation, certifications and records.
• Manage equipment logistics to guarantee timely availability on site.
• Liaise with site teams, clients, vendors and external agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment/plant coordination within construction or oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of equipment documentation, certification processes and mobilisation.
• Energetic, proactive and hands‑on site coordinator with excellent follow‑up abilities.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.
