About the role
The Executive Logistics role is responsible for shaping and executing logistics strategies across transportation, warehousing, and distribution. You will ensure cost‑effective operations while maintaining high service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes.
- Coordinate and manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Monitor and optimize logistics costs and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, conduct audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and optimize stock rotation.
- Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third‑party logistics providers.
- Negotiate contracts and evaluate supplier performance against service level agreements.
- Optimize routing and scheduling to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery while complying with regulations and safety standards.
