Executive Partner - Retail

About the role

Gartner’s Executive Programs (ExP) supports senior IT leaders worldwide. As an Executive Partner focused on the retail sector, you will act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of CIOs and senior technology executives, helping them navigate mission‑critical priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 28+ retail‑focused member relationships.
• Design and deliver customized service solutions using the full suite of ExP products.
• Assess member Mission Critical Priorities and create tailored service plans.
• Conduct on‑site and virtual briefings, workshops, analyst visits, roundtables and webinars.
• Present or facilitate at ExP events as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Gartner’s Sales organization to drive member engagement and renewal.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive technology experience in consulting or C‑level roles.
• Deep industry background in retail or real‑estate.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of CIO focus areas, IT operations, strategy and emerging trends.
• Demonstrated success in sales or business development with CXO‑level executives.
