EYFS Teacher for Academic Year 2027/28

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding EYFS Teacher to join its Abu Dhabi school for the Academic Year 2027/2028. This role offers the chance to work within a highly successful school family and contribute to the development of young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies and practices aligned with the school’s vision and high standards.
• Plan, monitor and evaluate short‑, medium‑ and long‑term departmental goals.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and create targeted support plans.
• Design and regularly review schemes of work for all year groups, including provisions for SEN, G&T, and EAL learners.
• Ensure curriculum coverage, continuity and progression for all students.
• Set expectations for staff regarding achievement standards, teaching quality and behaviour.
• Evaluate teaching and learning quality, identify best practices and drive improvement.
• Manage departmental resources, budgets and staff performance in line with school policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of three years’ experience teaching the UK curriculum, preferably EYFS.
• Proven track record of raising standards and implementing effective learning strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and collaborative teamwork skills.
