Facade Sales Manager

About the role

The Facade Sales Manager drives the sales strategy, manages client relationships and generates new business in the facade and glazing sector. The role requires a deep understanding of facade systems, market trends and customer needs, together with strong sales and negotiation skills. It also involves leading a sales team and working closely with design, production and project management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Sales strategy and business development: set and implement sales strategies to hit growth targets, generate leads, prospect and network with potential clients, and conduct market research.
• Client relationship management: build relationships with architects, developers and contractors, give technical advice, negotiate contracts and terms, and ensure profitability and satisfaction.
• Sales team leadership: lead, motivate and develop the team, set goals, run performance reviews, training and team meetings, and coach the team.
• Sales and project coordination: work with project management, design and production teams, review project specifications and proposals, and support sales presentations, bids and tenders.
• Financial management: manage sales budgets, forecasts and targets, track performance metrics, report to senior management, and set competitive pricing that protects margins.
• Networking: represent the company at industry events and trade shows, build links with industry associations and stay up to date on regulations and standards.
• Customer support: provide after-sales service throughout the project lifecycle, resolve client issues quickly and foster repeat business and referrals.
